We are looking for a permanent SMSA to supervise and support children at lunchtime, both while they eat and while they play. We are looking for people who enjoy spending time with children and find real joy in helping them play and socialise in the playground.

This is an exciting time in our school and the successful applicants will be expected to play a role in the development and growth of the primary school to reach its maximum capacity of 210 pupils over the next few years.

Link Worker Application Pack

We are seeking to appoint 2 Link Workers (a combination of a Teaching Assistant and Residential Education Care role) to work across both Fosse Way School and Fosse Way House (the residential provision).  The school caters for children aged 4-19 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan and Fosse Way House accommodates up to eleven students, all of whom have a diagnosis of autism who live here from Monday to Friday during term time.

Catering Assistant Application Pack

We are seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to work at Swainswick C of E Primary School.  

The post holders responsibilities will be to work with our current Catering Team but based at Swainswick C of E Primary School.  You will assist in their kitchen and dining room as required with the preparation of meals, food service, completion of essential daily food safety documentation, dish and utensil washing, general cleaning and any other tasks associated with catering. You will need to be able to work to a high standard and on your own initiative, be approachable, enthusiastic, flexible and committed to providing a quality service. 

The ideal candidate will hold a catering qualification such as a minimum of Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification although training can be provided.

If you are interested in being put on our supply Teacher or Teaching Assistant list please complete an application form (link above) and email to the relevant school office.

We are ideally looking for people who are flexible and able to cover  from 8.40am to 3.15 pm and who preferably could come in to cover sickness if called from 8 am.

If you are willing to do cover for both Teacher and TA please indicate this on your form.

Please note, we cannot guarantee a set amount of cover per week, although in general those on the supply list have been utilised on a regular basis.

For teaching assistants, we require the minimum qualifications of 3 GCSEs of A-C grades, 2 of which are English or Maths for supply applications. If you do not have these qualifications, we will be unable to process your request. You will be asked to provide the original certificates of the qualifications you hold, when you apply.

For teachers, you are required to hold a teaching qualification and again, you will be asked to provide the original certificates of the qualifications you hold.  If you are unable to do so, we will not be able to process your request.
