We are seeking to appoint a School Meals Supervisory Assistant (SMSA) to work at Farmborough Church Primary School within The Bath and Mendip Partnership Trust.
The post holder’s responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and supporting children with their play
- Supervising and supporting children with all areas of meal times where appropriate
- Reinforcing rules and expectations
- Communicating any issues with teaching staff

We are seeking to appoint two hard working and dedicated teaching assistants to work at The Mendip School, a school for children aged 4-19 with Autism and Speech Language and Communication Needs.
The post holders’ responsibilities include providing general classroom support, meeting pupils’ emotional, social and physical needs and liaising with teaching staff in the development and delivery of a differentiated curriculum.
Applicants will need to be confident, resilient and have excellent communication skills. Experience of working with children would be an advantage but working well within a team is essential. We are seeking to appoint a cleaner to work at Roundhill Primary School.
Roundhill is a community primary school on the south west side of Bath. We are an aspirational, highly motivated and supportive team who pride ourselves on the school ethos that children, their learning, welfare and happiness are at the forefront of all we do.
We are looking to appoint a flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our team as a cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness within classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets. This will require duties such as vacuuming, dusting and cleaning of washroom areas, tables, chairs etc.
We certainly encourage visits to our school; please contact the school office to book an appointment. Visits to the school will follow the current government Covid 19 guidelines.

If you are interested in being put on our supply Teacher or Teaching Assistant list please complete an application form (link above) and email to the relevant school office.
We are ideally looking for people who are flexible and able to cover from 8.40am to 3.15 pm and who preferably could come in to cover sickness if called from 8 am.
If you are willing to do cover for both Teacher and TA please indicate this on your form.
Please note, we cannot guarantee a set amount of cover per week, although in general those on the supply list have been utilised on a regular basis.
For teaching assistants, we require the minimum qualifications of 3 GCSE’s of A-C grades, 2 of which are English or Maths for supply applications. If you do not have these qualifications, we will be unable to process your request. You will be asked to provide the original certificates of the qualifications you hold, when you apply.
For teachers, you are required to hold a teaching qualification and again, you will be asked to provide the original certificates of the qualifications you hold. If you are unable to do so, we will not be able to process your request.
We are actively looking for people to join our supply list, particularly Teaching Assistants.
