HLTA:TA Application Pack

We are seeking a qualified and experienced primary Teaching Assistant/ HLTA to complement our friendly team.  This is to ensure we meet the needs of all children across our mixed year classes.

The Teaching Assistant hours will involve supporting learning in KS1 or KS2 classes under the direction of class teachers.  The HLTA hours will involve PPA cover and/or leading interventions with groups of children from all attainment groups.  In addition to previous experience in KS1 or KS2, training in phonics and evidence-based interventions would be an advantage.

Hours of work: Monday, Thursday and Friday 8:30 – 15:15, Tuesday 8:15 – 15:15 and Wednesday 8:30 – 16:00.

Project SEARCH is partnership between Fosse Way School and The Royal United Hospital.

Please note, we cannot guarantee a set amount of cover per week, although in general those on the supply list have been utilised on a regular basis.

For teaching assistants, we require the minimum qualifications of 3 GCSEs of A-C grades, 2 of which are English or Maths for supply applications. If you do not have these qualifications, we will be unable to process your request. You will be asked to provide the original certificates of the qualifications you hold, when you apply.
