Meet the Team

Emily Massey
Chief Executive Officer
With experience of teaching and leading in both mainstream and special schools nationally and internationally, Emily has a specific interest in curriculum design, autism research and how to support learners with additional needs to make outstanding academic and social progress.
Formerly Executive Headteacher of Fosse Way School and The Mendip School, leading the successful opening of The Mendip School as a new school for 120 children with autism and Fosse Way School through outstanding Oftsed inspections in both the school and residential setting.
Emily has delivered training to mainstream and special needs colleagues on a variety of subjects including SEN and behaviour as well as leadership courses for teachers, assistant heads and deputies. She also works with outreach teams to support mainstream colleagues in working with children with autism and challenging behaviour.

Sarah Savage
Director of School Improvement
Formerly, Director of Learning at The Partnership Trust, and having spent a number of years as a member of the Senior Leadership Team at a church school, a Deputy Head at a large, successful primary school and as a Primary Consultant with the Local Authority, Sarah has extensive experience at supporting schools to make improvements to practice and outcomes.
Sarah has a wealth of experience in providing high quality training, with particular specialisms in maths, assessment, data analysis and leadership.

Suzy Dinning
Business Director
Suzy has over 20 years’ experience as a Business Manager, within school settings, single and multi-academy trusts and held the role of Business Director within The Partnership Trust.
With extensive experience in HR processes and procedures, leading on large capital projects, estate management, administration and catering, Suzy has led academy conversions in a number of schools as well as supporting leadership in the opening of a free school and during inspections. Suzy provides support to School Business Managers and delivers training on middle leadership programmes.

Sue Heal
Executive Leadership Partner
Sue is an Executive Leadership Partner at the Trust .
With over 20 years’ experience and success in supporting schools to move out of Special Measures and 15 years’ experience as a Headteacher within schools with widely differing demographics, Sue has a detailed knowledge and practical experience of curriculum design and expertise in drawing teams of people together in a strong school improvement agenda. She has supported Local Governing Bodies to be highly effective, critical friends with a detailed understanding of their accountability for furthering school improvement.
The Partnership Trust Executive Team are supported by a well-qualified and experienced administrative team. Whilst being based at the central offices, the team spend time in all of the Trust schools and pride themselves on having outstanding working relationships with their colleagues within the schools.
