Chew Magna pupils end the school year with a triumphant staging of Forever Treasure Island

Children at Chew Magna Primary School finished the school year with a sell-out performance of Forever Treasure Island on 14 July at Chew Magna Village Hall.

Years 5 and 6 from Golden Eagle Class took to the stage and were supported by children in Years 3 and 4 who performed the songs for the musical play, based on Treasure Island.

Annie Spencer, Head Teacher at Chew Magna Primary School said:

 “This really is a community effort.  The children performed brilliantly and staff worked very hard to direct and manage the shows. We are really grateful for use of the Hall and want to say “thank you” to the parent who painted the scenery, and our governor who ran the wardrobe department - it all came together!’
