Due to the maternity leave of one of our staff, we are looking to appoint an outstanding class teacher for a Year 1 class to join the friendly team in our village church school. We want someone who is highly motivated, passionate about children’s learning and committed to meeting the needs of the ‘whole’ child, so that we develop independent and resilient learners. The ability to offer music as a specialism would be an advantage.
This is a job share, Monday and Tuesday, with the possibility of occasional supply work.

We are looking for a 0.6 FTE English teacher to work at Fosse Way School, a school for children aged 4-19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Speech Language and Communication Needs.
The candidate will be required to cover maternity leave from 8th May 2018 or possibly sooner. You must be an English Specialist and be able to teach our GCSE and Entry level classes. Previous experience of working in a special school is an advantage although training will be provided.

If you are interested in being put on our supply Teacher or Teaching Assistant/Male Teaching Assistant list please email the school office address with details of your experience.

A meeting will then be arranged with the Head Of School.
We are ideally looking for people who are flexible and able to cover from 8.40am to 3.15 pm and who preferably could come in to cover sickness if called from 8 am.
It would be very useful when a time is arranged to meet the Head of School if the application form below is completed and brought with you along with the DBS evidence described as this would speed the turn around time for clearing a person to join our supply list considerably.
If you are willing to do cover for both Teacher and TA please indicate this on your form.
Please note, we cannot guarantee a set amount of cover per week, although in general those on the supply list have been utilised on a regular basis.
For teaching assistants, we require the minimum qualifications of 3 GCSE’s of A-C grades, 2 of which are English or Maths for supply applications. If you do not have these qualifications, we will be unable to process your request. You will be asked to provide the original certificates of the qualifications you hold, when you apply.
For teachers, you are required to hold a teaching qualification and again, you will be asked to provide the original certificates of the qualifications you hold. If you are unable to do so, we will not be able to process your request.
