Teaching Assistant – Part Time
- 4 days per week (24 hours + 40 minutes)
- Mon 8.40am – 3.35pm, Weds/Thurs/Friday 8.40am – 3.15pm (30 mins lunch break)
- Potential supply work for Tuesdays
- Grade 4, scp 7. £22,369 per annum, pro rata
- Actual salary £12,757.12
- Permanent Contract
- Term Time only plus 5 INSET days

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work at Fosse Way School, a school for children aged 4-19, who have an Education, Health and Care plan.
Applicants from specialist or mainstream settings are encouraged. The position will be an excellent opportunity for colleagues looking for a new challenge. Previous experience of working in a special school is an advantage although training will be provided.
The post holder’s responsibilities include providing general classroom support, the meeting of pupils’ emotional, social and physical needs and liaising with teaching staff in the development and delivery of a differentiated curriculum. Applicants will need to be confident, resilient and have excellent communication skills.
