We are seeking to appoint a part-time, experienced EYFS class teacher from April 2022 to work in our combined nursery and reception class. The choice of days is flexible but will need to run consecutively in order to provide continuity for our pupils.

A working knowledge of the new 2021 EYFS curriculum would be desirable but not essential.

A programme of support, training and development is in place and as a school we are committed to providing the very best opportunities for pupils and staff.

This position is permanent and into the future the successful candidate may be required to work across the school and teach within the primary age-range.

DND Supply Teacher Application Pack

If you are interested in being put on our supply Teacher or Teaching Assistant list please complete an application form (link above) and email to the relevant school office.  If you are willing to do cover for both Teacher and TA please indicate this on your form.

We are ideally looking for people who are flexible and able to cover from 8:40am to 3:15 pm and who preferably could come in to cover sickness if called from 8 am.

Please note, we cannot guarantee a set amount of cover per week, although in general those on the supply list have been utilised on a regular basis.

For teaching assistants, we require the minimum qualifications of 3 GCSEs of A-C grades, 2 of which are English or Maths for supply applications. If you do not have these qualifications, we will be unable to process your request. You will be asked to provide the original certificates of the qualifications you hold, when you apply.

For teachers, you are required to hold a teaching qualification and again, you will be asked to provide the original certificates of the qualifications you hold.  If you are unable to do so, we will not be able to process your request.

Please note, the employment process for supply staff can take 6 – 8 weeks.

 

We also run a Playscheme over the school holidays and are always looking for new Play Workers & Play Leaders to join our Team

Playworkers/Deputy Play Leaders/Play Leaders
Playworker: £10.41 per hour
Deputy Play Leader: £11.27 per hour
Play Leader: £12.95 per hour
Hours: 9:30am – 4.30pm
Playschemes include February half term (3 days) Easter Holidays (4 days) October half term (3 days) & Summer holidays (4 weeks)

Play Leaders, Deputy Play Leaders and Playworkers required for our holiday Playschemes, for children aged 3-8 years & 9-19 years.

Playworkers must have at least one year’s recent experience of working with disabled children including those with high level, complex needs, ASD, personal care needs and applicants must be 18years of age.

All Play Leaders must be qualified to Level 3 and Deputy Play Leaders must be qualified to Level 2 in Playwork or Childcare or other appropriate area.

Compulsory Training/Induction
Includes: Planning/Safeguarding Training & Preparation and Induction
